Debbie came to Austria in 1985 as a Rotary Fellow, to study Art Song and Oratorio at the Conservatory of the City of Vienna. She has been a teacher of English to adult speakers of other languages since 1990 and is a qualified Superlearning trainer.

Debbie teaches business and general English at the University of Applied Science for International Business Relations in Eisenstadt and conducts in-house seminars for many Austrian companies, including the Austrian Central National Bank and the Vienna Insurance Group. She leads teacher-training seminars for the Pedagogical Institutes of all the provinces of Austria.

Debbie has been an Oral Examiner for Cambridge ESOL since 1995 and in 2001 became Oral Examiner Team Leader for Eastern Austria. She also presents seminars on the Cambridge examinations throughout Austria.
