ELT News is the journal published by TEA. It has a print-run of 650 copies and appears twice-yearly 
in spring and autumn. The majority of its readers are ELT practitioners and decision-makers in Austria, 
but the journal is also read in Germany, Slovenia, Slovakia, Turkey, China and the UK.

Its aim is to promote the exchange of ideas and information in a lively and practical manner and to 
enable ELT specialists, teachers and policymakers in Austria and abroad to keep abreast of ELT 
developments. 
  

The journal offers articles on issues of English language teaching from authors in Austria as well as 
abroad, worksheets, book reviews, etc., and is the only Austrian journal dealing exclusively with 
issues of English language teaching.
