The trainers were:

Deborah Starkey, Vienna: "Evaluation"

This included Evaluating Reading, Listening, Speaking and Writing Skills
The Cambridge Examinations as Tools of Evaluation for the Classroom

Deborah Starkey has been a free-lance teacher of English for speakers of other languages for sixteen years. 
She teaches at the University of Applied Sciences for International Business Relations in Eisenstadt  and leads 
seminars for numerous leading Austrian firms, including the OeNB and Wiener Städtische.
She is an Oral Examiner, Team Leader and Seminar Presenter for Cambridge ESOL. 
She is currently studying toward an MBA with the Open University.


Randall Lund, Utah: Intercultural Language Learning: The USA Inside Out

This included Intercultural Language Learning: Two for One Music to My Tongue: 
Using music to learn language and culture
Walking in Others' Shoes: Children's and juvenile literature as window to culture and language
The Real West: Interviews with modern Westerners for listening and speaking
The Intercultural Portfolio: Using the ELP for intercultural learning.

Randall Lund is a professor in the Department of Germanic and Slavic Languages at Brigham Young University in Utah. 
A former middle school teacher of English and German, he still steaches beginning and advanced German and leads study abroad
sessions for students and teachers in Vienna. He has beentraining teachers of various languages for over twenty years.
