Murau? Murau! When I retired from school last December I thought I might need some extra activities to keep me busy and prevent me from potential retirement shock so I contacted TEA about joining the board. At the first meeting Ulli Matiegka announced her decision to hand over TEA Summer School to someone else early this year… Well, here I am. My name is Grete Nezbeda, (b. 1949). I taught English and German at AHS and English at the PA Vienna. As of 2005 I will be taking over the coordination of the TEA Summer Schools and I hope I'll be able to maintain the fascinating TEA Summer School spirit I experienced when I spent two days in Styria with Ulli, Karen and Bernard, our trainers and the colleagues from all over Austria: Although I didn't know anybody except Ulli when I arrived, I said goodbye to many friends the next day. The splendid scenery of Murau and the lovely rainbow in the evening were just some of the goodies: the workshops were excellent and so was the atmosphere.
